evidently yes. I had 593 this morning.

Somebody is out of pocket for a lot of bandwidth :-P. The list is fairly
clean, (= little spam or viruses) so one must ascribe  competence out
there. I'd be thinking hard disk errors, upgrade going wrong, that sort
of thing. It is a major pita.
