The program is called "Delta's Music Editor" (Hope you can find it, I've since deleted it as it doesn't work).

I contacted the guy again telling him it's illegal in some countries, he responded quickly.

"That doesn't matter, were based in Canada selling our software In Canada. If you don't like our program, don't use it, the requirements clearly stated that Windows was needed. NOT WINE! Please stop bothering us with this."
