[Wine] Re: Rise of nations problem

Got the menu[ etc to run on UB710+Wine0958, although the game did not want to load, got the loading screen okay and the progress bar moved up to the top then sat their? I may have not waited long enough seemed to be very slow or it could be the ati vid card I have?.

Gave it a shot on Ub804+ Wine0960, installed okay but all i get the below on the main menu, clicking around were the menu options should be will take me through to some other screens (im guessing) but they are all black:

The terminal is telling me this, the last line seems to indict a d3d shader issue? any advice on what I can try next would be great and thanks for the help:
