I decided to take a look at the issue you mentioned, I figured it out and fixed it, I've sent the patches to the mailing list, so with any luck 3DMM will run with the next version of wine... However, once the patches are applied, there is a different bug in 3DMM to do with sound decoding, it sort of works but there is something slightly off.
