Are you shure you made all that was suggested to you?

This is the most stable game for me... I did not understand why you could not run it...

pls made something like that
insert your original cd/dvd in your (cd/dvd) drive
in most cases it automount somewhere specific to your distribution
for ex. i have opensuse all mounted cd(dvd, usb) is mount to

so if i insert my warcraft cd in my dvdrw it will mount it in

in most cases you could have different location of your installation media keep this in mind when will went to next step. In this step i will call it $installmedia
also you shouldn't have .wc3 directory

mkdir .wc3
env WINEPREFIX="~/.wc3" wineconfig



here you should only check that you have winxp simulation

After installation proceed you sould run this from any terminal window you have


> env WINEPREFIX="~/.wc3" wine "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III"


So if you have some problem after that please give us log from your terminal window

also you should write what distro you use... it is important. You should write here exactly what are you doing if you realy want to have the answer. The posts that you write before is very poor and many people will ignore you for that... also me, if you does not correct this situaion...
