i don't really understand how this stuff works, but it is possible that your program cant work on wine. the only reason i am trying is that my program works perfectly for my friend, who has the same disto as mien, and there seems no reason why it works for him and not for me.

in this case the answer is absolutely negative (unless this specific program installed a driver for the license manager).
