[Wine] help a newbie; X (font?) error with "gold" app?

I'm trying to run this app: http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=5797

The AppDB page mentioned 5 dlls that had to be native or native, builtin.  Set these overrides in winecfg.  Am I supposed to do something else like copy files from my windows partition?

A ran "winetricks vcrun2003" and "winetricks riched20".  At this point I could bring the app up, but some characters were not displaying.  (It's a foreign language app with non-ascii chars.)

So I ran "winetricks allfonts" and now it doesn't come up anymore and I see:
