[Wine] Re: Doom Collectors edition sound and installation problems.

The game is rated platinum in the AppDB for 1.1.1. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=12991

I have two questions:

1. What version of Wine are you using? If it's older than 1.1.1, upgrade.
2. You say you "read the sticky on top and tried some of the things some people did."  Was disabling/removing Pulseaudio one of the things you tried? If not, try that. 

If you're running 1.1.1 or later, have completely disabled Pulseaudio, and still can't install, run the installer from a terminal and post console output.
