[Wine] Blank Screen

Hello - newbie here. Please be kind if I'm breaking protocol. I didn't see my question in the FAQ, or a topic related to mine in the Forum.

Anyways.

Running Warcaft 3 or Wizardry 8 will load - but the screen goes black. I can Alt+Tab out, and do anything else; but there is no response from the game. These games worked fine a while back when I first ran them - but after following the instructions to get Civilization 4 to run, I have been unable to play these two games. The only other game I play in Wine is WoW - but that is working fine.

I don't know if those help, or if I'm repeating a noob mistake with asking for help. If there is a better way to do this, or if anyone needs anymore information; please let me know.
