[Wine] wine complains - no access to network

Hello from Germany,

I have installed wine-0.9.57 on a SuSE 10.2.
Trying to install IE 6 with the help of wine-doors wine complains:

> Network manager not found, your internet is your business
> please don't complain if it doesn't work
How can I check, whether internet-access is possible or not ? How can I 
get it running?
Google didn´t help me so far.
