[Wine] Re: 0.9.60 Still doesn't do Bryce 5.5 correctly.

I have to admit, that instead of filing a bug report, I just placed an entry in the application database describing my problem.

Yet, there seems to have been somebody named "Scorpioprise" running Ubuntu who got WINE to work properly, and who rated it Platinum.

It's unfortunate that the other guy did not post in his appdb article, how he did that, and some other testers reported problems with it.

If you're reading this, Scorpioprise, could you kindly tell us what tricks you used to get it working?

BTW, I have completely reformatted the HD on my Linux computer recently, and installed the newer version of Kanotix named Thorhammer-RC6 on it. This left my WINE C: drive blank. But this in itself didn't seem to change the behaviour of Bryce. And I also did upgrade to WINE 0.9.61 ,  just with the same result.
