You just ran into http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5351

The workaround for that immediate problem is
  wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks
  sh winetricks volnum

but as others have pointed out, we don't support IE7,
and you should try ies4linux if you want to install that.
