hmm could be - fa3 came in two flavors. You can buy it (with the usual cd protections) or you can download it (with steam) witch lacks cd protections but its exes are encrypted in some way

dayosh Im assuming you have the cd version right? Because this guy (http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=2701) reports distorted loading screen which means he can start the game!
