[Wine] Re: Intel vs ATI – which one is better for wine?

I'm using a laptop with intel GM960 and wanna say that Intel driver is worse than AMD driver.
In fact, it have never been good. wasting their own nice chipsets... :(
Also implementaion of UXA caused incredible decrease in performance of intel graphic chipsets, and made system(with those chipsets) unstable.
Even compiz dev team gave up to support intel graphic chipset and added it to black list, on which compiz will not be activated.
Therefore AMD would be better choice.

But please be noticed that there are some ways to fix bugs and improve performance. also UXA is not bad thing at all [Wink]
