[Wine] Re: Midtown Madness 2 issues

Back with test results... and i`m afraid that they are bad news. 

Since my stable driver is named NVIDIA-Linux-x86-190.42-pkg1.run i have decided to download the beta driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195.22-pkg1.run and of course try Midtown Madness under wine 1.1.34. The game acts slowly with or without setting OffscreenRenderingMode to value backbuffer and the in game menu has issues(the other 2 values offer the same result ) :(... 

But the same beta driver under the older wine 1.1.27 acts normal ... how is that possible ? i really don`t understand how is this possible... don`t new versions improve the quality of the software that use it ?
