Instead of using WINEPREFIX you may also just rename your .wine folder, wine will then create a new ".wine" folder with a clean registry etc. The WINEPREFIX stuff is maybe too complicated. After testing you just have to delete the new .wine folder and give the original .wine folder its name back.
