I just accessed http://root.cern.ch and looked at the tutorials.  I've been away from this sort of thing for several years and the old brain is just that 'OLD' ! Well anyway, I'm wondering if I created a root macro for [  buttongroupState.C:  A simple example that shows the enabled disabled state ] If I could then turn on the buttons and enable functionality?

I'm afraid to try it though with out some expert input though.
