Reinstalling Wine itself is not usually necessary or helpful. What usually needs to be done is to delete or rename ~/.wine and reinstall the app to a clean wineprefix. Have you tried that?

According to the most recent test in the AppDB, the only things that Sketchup 7 needs installed with winetricks are corefonts, vcrun6, and possibly dotnet20 for some 3rd party plug-ins.  http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=14562&iTestingId=40538
