well I didn't really know what I was doing but I tried updating mesa gl or something like that. I know that probably has nothing to do with d3d but after that it worked instantly. as far as open gl in the terminal I get to where it says loading ogre or whatever then I get an error and it crashes. d3d seems slow though but this computer isn't that fast anyway
