I'm not a wine developer, but you should probably file some bug report, with command line output and maybe some logs. This COM stuff is the most sophisticated area in wine, and there are only a handful of guys  who really understand COM internals, their time is limited, but they may be interested in the differences (in the logs) between native and builtin DCOM (Windows DCOM versus wine's DCOM).
