Good to hear installation worked. Don't worry, Wine is easy. Basically you can just open your exe files with Wine (might have to associate them through the right-click menu under the file manager first). If the program works, good, otherwise come back here for troubleshooting. I suggest you read a bit about "running from the terminal" in the FAQ too.

By the way...

This is really, REALLY strange; add-apt-key is a tool that comes with Ubuntu 9.10 by default (though probably not earlier versions). Are you sure you're actually running Ubuntu 9.10? Maybe your whole Ubuntu installation is actually messed up somehow? Does it give any suggestion or instruction on how to install "add-apt-key" at all? If so, follow the instruction.
