they aren't gonna touch Wine because of its license... and as Vitamin showed, there is a bit of hate between Apple and most Open Source/GPL(ish) type projects, and it kinda goes both ways.  Apple deals more with Open Source they can control a bit more that is good for helping them make profits, not good for helping them make things free for other people.
