[Wine] Question -- Did Friday's git cause anyone sound problems on

No, alsa forcerestart does not work. 
Your experience confirms my impression that it is not a wine problem. 
Apparently, snd-hda-intel controls both my onboard card and my Creative X-fi card, and it is prefering the wrong card.
