[Wine] How to find why application does not run

Ok. I ran sh winetricks and selected mfc42.dll after which I tried to run 
e-sword with the results shown below:

What did I do wrong with regard to winetricks? Can I maybe copy something from 
my Vista file system to make this work? If so, what? and to where?
