It's still the same day, have some patience with your bumping... Your display driver can't switch to 640x480 for whatever reason. Try opening winecfg and enabling "Emulate a virtual desktop" inside the Graphics tab. Your game will run in a Window, but not try to switch your desktop resolution, so it might succeed this way.
