None of those winetricks are necessary. Powerpoint does need an override for riched20 to run, but Office installs its own version, so there is no need for winetricks--just set the override in winecfg. 

Delete your ~/.wine and reinstall without any winetricks or other tweaks. Set overrides for riched20 and usp10 in winecfg after you have installed--no winetricks, just set the overrides. If Word still doesn't start after a clean install, run it from the terminal and post whatever messages appear.
