This must be discouraging news to anyone interested in Wine on PPC.
A dual G5 (aka a dual PPC970) was surely the hottest PPC Mac ever
made, and one of the fastest PPC's of any stripe -- although a 4x970
(Tigerwood or similar) would likely outrun it on a workload amenable
to parallel execution.
