Simple fact here Oli Warner it is not that another audio out will not be added.

Each added audio sync makes maintaining the audio system of wine harder.

Most valid item in the current Linux world to add to wine is not pulseaudio.  If you want a better support for pulseaudio support for a gstreamer audio out to be added.

Reason gstreamer would allow alsa oss jack.... sections of code to be dropped from wine and the responsibility for interfacing with audio be transferred to gstreamer.

This is simplerify the audio system.    Current wine audio stack is already too complex.
