[Wine] Re: Launching Source engine games results in crash, small res

Well steam runs fine on my laptop (as expected) in it's own identical WINEPREFIX and identical installation, as I just copied the .wine.steam directory to a flash drive and ran steam on my laptop.  I launched it using these scripts:

xinit /home/l33/scripts/steam.wine -- :1

Here's the output in konsole when I press ctrl+alt+F7 to get back to display:0

Is there any sort of launch options that I can try that might help?  I've seen dxlevel options in the wiki but they didn't help.
