[Wine] Re: Steam games unable to play

I just want to add my frustration onto this thread about steam game on wine. I'm trying to load empire total war and Napoleon total war. For both game, I goto the copyright page and it freezes. I ran the game in terminal and the last output are:

I agree with others in the above posts that this may be a steam update problem, but since other window-users aren't having the same problem and since steam and linux system don't go together officially, I don't think steam support will give much help and the only help probably will come from this forum. So with this in mind, I really hope someone can help me.
