[Wine] Re: Do I need IkernelUpdate.exe for Wine 1.3.8?

Since I can't get the game up and running yet, I think I'm going to follow the How-To for the retail version of Alice here: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=374
Before I do, I'd like some advice on any obvious changes I should consider since I am using the newest version of Wine.  I'm thinking that if after I follow the How-To it still doesn't work, I will remove Wine and reinstall it to get back to an unmodified version of it.
