just now finished the first part of that, installing from git and such... and now it works, before getting to the regression test part.  

so what does this mean?  is the version of wine I just compiled from git newer or different from 1.1.37?  I do have other apps installed to wine besides boincview.  Do I have to reinstall them as well?
