[Wine] Having some issues w/ Wine+Deb

Ok I am having some issues with wine and Debian Lenny.

1. I am unable to run Team Fortress 2 from Steam. The launcher pops up connecting but it then shuts down and nothing happens. 

2. How uninstall an app. I have tried running wine uninstaller, but the apps do not appear and rm .wine etc... does not work either, it says that the directory does not exist.

Any help would be greatly appreciative.
