[Wine] Ubuntu Lucid no longer dependent on Pulseaudio, wine works

I upgraded to Lucid yesterday and did the following.
System / Preferences / Startup Applications
I unchecked PulseAudio Sound System. 
I rebooted. 
Hurrah!! No pulseaudio. And so far, no other problems. The wine is fine, even with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. 
This works only as of Alpha 2, which has other problems, especially if you have an nvidia driver.
