[Wine] Re: Thinking of getting wine

Check the AppDB for information on the games you are interested in. Be sure to read and follow any howtos. As for the install directory, Wine creates its own fake C:\ drive in ~/.wine that includes the standard Windows directories, including Program Files. Your game will think it has been installed to the default directory.
