That's only needed for Leopard. He's running Snow Leopard, where they
apparently fixed the bug, though not the same way I did. (At least, the
configure test succeeds.)

The real problem is not that 16-bit linking fails with the SL linker,
but that winebuild fails on KERNEL's spec file. I need to look into
this, so I'll get back to you on this.
