I tested now with another version of the testprogram and it runs without any errors.
But only in the "Windows ME" mode and not in "Windows 2000".

Can you tell me the difference?

At this time i can't say if the program lcdhype.exe itself will run proper in "Windows ME".
It starts, but some content is not displayed in parts of the window.
The better way is to start it under "windows 2000", but it seems not possible to get access to the parport here?

Running programs in wine that will have access to an interface is not easy.
Is there any documentation what to do under which emulation?
