[Wine] Very weird behaviour after moving from 32 to 64 bit..

Today I decided to reintall Ubuntu on my PC, going from Lucid Linx 32 bit to a clean install of the 64 bit version..

I'm a huge fan of casual games, and now I have a number of problems with them.

At first I could get NOTHING to work, after a couple of tries I finally get something to work, I can have Braid working, but I can't seem to make Plat versus Zombies work, I managed to make Escape Rosecliff Island run (which I previously couldn't) from the external hard drive where I had put the games, but I couldn't make it run once I copied it on the Desktop.

Also, at times, when I (succesfully or unsuccesfully) launch a game and exit even after a couple of seconds I find myself "logged out" of the computer and all other applications running need to be restarted.

Any idea?

Should I just go back to the 32 bit version?
