The apt line:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu hardy main 

 did the trick!

Before that I was using: 
Code:
deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt hardy main

 which stopped getting updated at 1.1.39.

I hope they update the WineHQ website to show the new apt line instead, because the PPA seems to be updated more often than budgetdedicated.
