Maybe they are duplicates, however, they do not refer to one specific bug (the audio or resolution crashes). They are confusing, that's why I'm concerned and doubtful about what to do.

The people who originally reported those bugs just installed the game, see them crash, and then filled out the bug report form. They didn't bothered to see what was really happening, what was causing the games to crash.
