You could try the version that ships with Karmic, which I believe is 1.0.1. But I wouldn't count on it--Wine has a lot of dependencies, and I doubt they would all be included on an install cd. Most distro installers assume internet access. (I don't use Ubuntu, so I don't know for sure.)

You might have better luck with openSUSE, which installs from a dvd that includes all the packages in their OSS and non-OSS repositories. 

Otherwise, as you've already been told, you need to download all the dependencies, too, and install them first.
