I had an employer website before that "required" IE or it wouldn't work... I spoofed Safari to report as IE on Windows and everything worked fine... kinda funny. as to getting Wine to run IE... its easiest to do that installing IE with Winetricks.... but that takes actually getting and installing Wine correctly first.
