I followed this HowTo : http://www.wine-reviews.net/wine-reviews/applications/ie-7-on-linux-with-wine.html.
Anyway this didn't work too...still get this msg from the IE7 installer:

> This installation does not support your system architecture(32/64bits)

do you have any clue ? :? 

I'm on AMD64 system.
