Mailing lists consist of 'threads' where messages may have multiple answers in a non-specified order. Thus my replies should be after yours, but in context. Thus your questions are answered in a compartmentalized fashion.

Without a slight bit of quotation, it is possible to make the mistake of supplying an incorrect answer or an answer that was previously given.

Remove any previous signatures and 'taglines' that appear at the bottom of the message. You can also 'trim' the content of the message to remove any information that does not apply to your request. If you previously supplied information on how the program was run or if you created a new Wine Prefix, leave that in the message.

Some folks are very picky on which messages they answer and if you top post or leave out quoting, they skip that message and go to the next one. If you are a habitual violator of these 'rules', they just discard your messages.

Then I should open a message and paste the URL there, and any more info at the bottom of the message below the URL? New info, like can I remove ispq and make a new wineprefix removing only that one program should be OK to post like this or should it be in a new message? I tend to stick to things til they get figured out, and not disappear. Except tomorrow. May have some work to do here for hurricane EARL tomorrow. Live in Rhode Island. Hope it isn't too bad a storm. Thanks again. Bob
