Looks like http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24238 Try run wow in opengl mode (wine wow -opengl), or, if you really want d3d, in winecfg, go to the audio tab and disable all drivers; then set windows version to Windows Vista or Windows 7.
