[Wine] Re: Civilization V

Just wanted to let you all know that Civilization 5 works just fine for me in Directx9 under Ubuntu 10.04LTS 64bit.

- sudo apt-get install wine ( running wine-1.1.42 )
- downloaded steam from their website
- bought and installed civ5 on steam
- installed directx 9 to wine using winetricks ( google this if you need )
- started civilization5.exe ( not the dx11 executable but the dx9 one )

Played 14 hours straight :) No crash, no lag.
