You're welcome to buy another copy, but you can activate Dragon legally on up to 5 computers.  When activating the 6th time your serial code is blocked.
But when you uninstall a copy and the computer has internet access at that time the copy is deactivated and the counter goes one down. So if you completely want to reinstall your system, deinstall Dragon before you format your drive. ;)

It's legal. It's a one person license, not a one computer license. It's mentioned in the manual too that it's permitted to install Dragon on more than one computer.  Read it yourself. The maximum of 5,  I heard from Nuance support.

But if you really want to buy more copies to profit from the discount (still cost you more money though): be my guest. 

And please let us know how Dragon 11 performs under WINE.
