[Wine] Digiguide

This is my first time posting here, so please be kind.

Until late Summer (late June I think), I happily used an application called DigiGuide under wine and it worked beautifully. However, after this, it never worked properly and I gave up with it. I have only just decided to try it again after I was reminded that I still had nearly two years of my DigiGuide subscription left and decided to get my money's worth.

After June I found out that I was unable to use the scroll bars or click on any tick boxes to select items from listings. Also, when I hovered over the items on the DigiGuide menus to get tool tips, all I got was a blank box, sometimes with an opaque tooltip, sometimes just the border. The tooltip box would stay on screen until I shut DigiGuide down.

The version of wine that I was using was the latest which was 1.3.35 I think. I reverted to a version from a long time ago (1.2.3) and DigiGuide works fine, if a bit sluggish. The only thing that happened in June was an update to wine, not DigiGuide. I downloaded the latest DigiGuide today and got the same problems as before, but the reversion fixed the problem.

The problem is more prevalent with DigiGuide when setting up your account, as this is the time you are unable to scroll down and select items - a trial version can be found at www.digiguide.tv and you can replicate this problem yourself . There may be other applications that have the same problems.
