I'll assume you didn't compile Wine at all... your probably using WineBottler's Wine.app which is a 3rd party program and not supported here.

Waiting for a DirectX fix probably will not fix anything since non-Windows OSes cannot use DirectX, so Wine still uses OpenGL even for Direct3D.

If you don't want to compile source code to install and use Wine command line (which macports and such will do for you), you can try any other 3rd party program you want, but you won't be able to get support for them here.
