Bug #6971 addresses this.  Long time and is still looking for a 'proper' 
answer.  Also, implementing a 'stop mouse' feature might not be totally 
desired as this is not implemented this way on Windows (I use VMWare in 
my workplace on Vista and it is NOT desired to do this.)
